"The frangipani flower is Mother Nature's symbol of perfection."

Alexandria

The frangipani tree, it's beautiful flower bouquets and perfume, invokes memories of tropical paradises, peace, tranquility and love.

The genus, Plumeria, is named in honor of the seventeenth century French botanist Charles Plumier, who traveled to the New World naming and documenting many plant species. The common name "frangipani" comes from the sixteenth century marquess of a noble family in Italy who invented a Plumeria scented perfume.

They are native to Central America, Mexico, the Caribbean, and South America as far south as Brazil but can be grown in tropical and sub-tropical regions.

In Australias sub tropics and tropics they are ideal for our changing climate being hardy and drought tolerant. They require little maintenance and provide their stunning tropical blooms for little effort.
